Reality: "Just securing our borders"? What, like personal freedom and liberty aren't important? No adult who chooses the safer alternative to alcohol, tobacco and caffeine should have to live in fear of being evicted, fired, having their children taken away by CPS, or any of the other forms of discrimination cannabis users currently face.
You're a mom right, Comet? What if your kids could be taken away by CPS because you chose to drink a glass of wine with or after dinner? It is not just or moral to discriminate against cannabis users for using cannabis, a substance that is by every possible measure, safer than alcohol and not just hard liquor but also wine and beer.
